One of the students asked a fantastic question about finding part-time jobs to start building their skills. Our CEO shared how her first job at Michaels taught her invaluable customer service and people skills. Those early retail experiences laid the foundation for her career, eventually leading her to roles as an HR leader for major retailers and fast-food companies like Ulta Beauty, Domino’s Pizza, CVS Health, and Burger King. Those roles shape resilience, empathy, and leadership.
